I hate, hate, HATE being involved in unnecessary drama. Last night, two girls on Instagram got upset with me for tagging them in a giveaway!
I thought I was being nice, thinking, "These girls should like this. I'm going to tag them so they can see it and enter the giveaway if they'd like." I apparently opened the gates of hell by tagging them. Apparently, they have some beef with the girl who was running the giveaway, but how was I supposed to know?! Tagging them was a "slap in their face" according to one of the girls, and the other girl ended up blocking me.
I was sincerely sorry and apologized to the girl who hadn't blocked me yet. I explained to her that I had no idea what was going on among the three of them. What did I get? A cold shoulder and a lot of passive-aggressive posts directed toward me.
Yes, please! Leave that to the teenagers! These "women" are in their 30s for crying out loud. I thought they'd be more sophisticated, but I was wrong. They just like to sit at home all day and find something or someone else to hate on for the sake of hating. If you ask me, that just screams...
Well, no losses here. If you want to be ignorant and be upset with me over petty things, go right on ahead. I've got a life to live that doesn't involve arguing over social media.

That's a real story? Hopefully, when they cool off, they'll give you an apology, too. :)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, this is a real story. I don't know if they'll cool off; there's still a lot of passive aggressiveness going on at the moment. I'm just going to move on with a hair flip *flips hair*. Haha!
