Since certain skin care regimens don't work the same for every single person, let me first tell you about my skin. If you have skin like mine, then you might find these products very helpful.
Skin Type and Concerns
Skin type: CombinationConcerns: Acne and blemishes, blackheads, dryness, and occasional oiliness
Now, for the good stuff...
Products
Face Wash
Clean & Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub - When I get really stressed out, I tend to break out more and my skin gets really dry. It gets so dry that it starts to flake (gross). This exfoliating scrub is perfect to treat those concerns. A little goes a long way with this product. After washing my face with this, my skin feels smoother and refreshed. It even leaves my skin with a tingling, refreshing feeling. I also love the fact that this is oil-free.
Face Mask
Freeman Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Mask - I picked this baby up last week and have only used it once, but I saw a huge difference after my first use! I put this pretty, aqua-colored mask on my face, making sure to avoid my eyes and mouth, and I left it on for 15 minutes. After washing it off, my face looked much more radiant. This along with the exfoliating scrub also took care of a lot of blackheads. It's recommended to use this once or twice a week, so I'll definitely be using it again tonight after the dreaded exam.
Moisturizer
Clean & Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Gel Moisturizer - This product is oil-free, light, and very hydrating. I like to put this on in the morning after washing my face, and I'll let it stay on for 10-15 minutes before continuing with my makeup routine. It's also good to use alone if you don't want to put on a BB/CC cream or foundation.
Wrap Up
I've been using Clean & Clear products for my skin for almost ten years now. I've tried other products that were advertised to work better at quadruple the cost, but they made my skin worse than it already was. I'm not saying that this will be the case for everybody, but you may be surprised at the results you'll find with products from your local drugstores. So, lovelies, this is my simple regimen. Let me know if you're going to try it out!
In Words, With Love,
Vanessa Mae
